With reference to the ABC 7.30 report on 17^th October 2019 regarding the inhumane cruelty inflicted on thoroughbred racehorses we congratulate the ABC for exposing the ‘behind scenes’ of the racing industry.  From electric prodders, whips, trainers charged with cruelty and the shocking brutal slaughter of young healthy horses, discarded after winning thousands of dollars and no longer a money spinner is a national disgrace.   We call for an immediate enquiry into the racing industry and those accountable brought before the courts.  For all Australians who viewed the ABC footage the images will never be forgotten.  We urge all to boycott the racing industry and voice their disgust to Government.   Shame !!!!
